An exceptional reception under a transparent tent in the park of a castle

At Atawa, we offer services all over France, which is why we had the pleasure of going to the outskirts of Lyon, in the commune of Le Bouchage, to organise the wedding of our lovers, Julien and Alexandra, in a chic and warm atmosphere.

A tailor-made wedding in a castle near Lyon

For Alexandra and Julien, it was necessary to organise a wedding that was meticulously planned, and above all in accordance with all their wishes. This is why we took the time to study all their requests: a chic wedding in the Rhône-Alpes region, comfortable, but also bright, which the guests could fully enjoy thanks to spacious locations. 
We therefore proposed 3D simulations with a concrete representation of what would be set up. We also worked with the service providers chosen by the couple: the wedding designer Majenia Design, the company Nicéphore and co for the photobooth, as well as a starred chef in the kitchen...
The collaboration with the different partners allowed us to go into detail about the layout of the spaces for the entire wedding and therefore to guarantee perfect coordination on the big day.
In the end, the guests were able to enjoy three distinct areas during this beautiful day: the one for the cocktail party, the one for the dinner, and the one for the caterer. All of this was done with top-of-the-range structures and quality materials: crystal reception tent, floor, carpets, stretched canvas, Stretch tent...

A vintage and convivial wedding cocktail

The cocktail party took place outside to allow the guests to enjoy the magnificent park of the castle and its swimming pool. In order to create space and provide shade for the guests, caterer and band, several small sand-coloured Stretch tents were installed, some with a pretty wooden floor.
The bride and groom chose a convivial and vintage decoration for the cocktail party. The guests were seated on elegant pallet furniture and enjoyed delicious appetizers while chatting. A vintage van photobooth was at their disposal as well as a flower bar and a buttonhole design workshop to allow them to bring back a nice souvenir of this emotional day. The whole event was staged with old wooden crates, cases, baskets and other vintage accessories.

A chic dining area worthy of a castle life

The atmosphere changed during the dinner, where the key words were chic and chateau-like. The 250 guests were seated in a large 400m2 Cristal tent. For an elegant, high-end look, Atawa selected first-rate materials for the canvas and the covering of the tent in heat-stretched crystal and for the curtains in ecru brushed cotton.
The aluminium structure of the tent was also hidden by the brushed cotton covering of the poles and trusses and the gable ends. The catering area and sanitary facilities were hidden by the design of a white brushed cotton wall with wood panelling.
Finally, the floor of the Cristal tent was half covered with carpet for the dining area, and the other half with a floor for the dance floor.
As you can see, the entire event decoration was thought out in minute detail for this top-of-the-range wedding reception.

As for the furniture, the guests were seated around large rectangular and round tables with white tablecloths, and on Louisianna chairs with white seats. The whole was sublimated by a magnificent floral decoration in pink and white shades on the table, on the seats of the bride and groom, and suspended from the roof of the tent.
For the lighting, spotlights and a light bridge were installed to create a warm atmosphere during the meal, and then a lively atmosphere during the dance party until the early hours of the morning!

A large-scale event

For the couple in love, nothing was left to chance. Indeed, their 250 guests had to be able to share their happiness throughout the day, without them having to ask themselves any questions or have any worries. Everything was meticulously planned. 
This is why we planned for all the structures and elements to be installed and dismantled over a full week for the dinner, cocktail and catering areas. It was then possible to set up the different tents (cocktail tent with crystal roof and stretch tent), the floors, but also the carpets, the dressing of the places and the poles, ...) without stress and by controlling all the aspects.
In association with Julien and Alexandra's wedding planner, we worked on the realization of the most beautiful day of their lives, which seemed to be a great success considering their wide smiles on the D-day.
