Dry toilet

If you are organizing an outdoor event and your venue does not have toilets, or not enough for the number of participants, renting a toilet is essential.

Dry toilets are an ecological alternative to sanitary cabins. Indeed, the absorbent power of wood shavings allows to avoid the use of water as well as all operations of grey water purification. They are very often used on festivals but also on corporate events and weddings.

Dry toilets are also available in PRM format, allowing access to people in wheelchairs.

Depending on the size of your event and the number of guests expected, it is recommended to plan enough cabins or a permanent cleaning service. By opting for a permanent cleaning service, a person will be present during your event to regularly clean and empty the recovery bins and also regularly empty the chips scattered around.

It is of course possible to accompany these sanitary facilities with portable sinks. These are equipped with a tap and a water tank to allow participants to wash their hands. It is important to ensure that the portable sinks are regularly supplied with clean water and soap to ensure the hygiene of participants.

In order to facilitate access to the sanitary area, which is often located a little further away from the heart of the event, think about setting up effective signage! It is for example to install a luminous path leading to the sanitary facilities thanks to garlands or high torches. 
Furthermore, to protect the participants from possible bad weather, Atawa proposes to cover your dry cabins with a structure, such as a small reception tent or a stretch tent for example.
