How to enhance an event with event decoration?

How to enhance an event with event decoration?

Organise a unique event thanks to event decoration

When it comes to event planning, it's simple: assume that everything is possible. Whether it's a question of event decoration or the design of a space, there are indeed no limits (or almost). We have prepared 4 tips for successful decoration of your wedding or corporate event to make your guests' eyes glaze over.

In addition to the choice of the tent, it is indeed possible to personalise an event in many ways thanks to event decoration, which allows you to sublimate any space and thus immerse your guests in a unique atmosphere. For example, you can easily recreate an exotic jungle under a Bamboo tent, by giving its poles the appearance of palm trees. "In fact, it is even possible to transform a tent to the point of making it disappear," explains Maxime, consultant and co-founder of Atawa. "For example, you can put mirrors on it or use floral and plant decoration to create a green wall," he says. When you are organising an event and you rent a tent, it may be interesting to find out about the different elements that exist on the market to decorate it: pleated canvas, stretched canvas, pole covers, scraped cotton skirting, digital printing, hot stretched crystal, garlands, plant decoration, etc.

The possibilities are endless with event decoration

As you can see, the stereotype of the white plastic tent is long gone. Now there is room for scratchy cotton covers, digital printing, plant-based scenography - which is very much in vogue at the moment - or even structures that have been sublimated by carpentry and tapestry. Today, event decoration even makes it possible to hide the somewhat rough details of a tent, such as the Reception tent, whose structure can be concealed by pole covers. "We can even reproduce the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles," says Aymeric, consultant and co-founder. Innovative techniques that are constantly evolving, Atawa having, for example, built an outdoor exhibition stand at the International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, notably using printing on tarpaulin.

To enhance an event, also think about combining your event decoration with light effects, knowing that there are infinite possibilities depending on your budget. Inside a tent, for example, you can recreate the atmosphere of your choice: warm lighting and candles for a subdued atmosphere, indirect lighting projected onto facades or furniture for more originality, chandeliers for an elegant ambiance... While outside, you can highlight the environment by playing with the shadows of trees and sculptures, for example, or by illuminating the surrounding nature thanks to a Cristal tent, whose transparent structure allows you to take advantage of the starry night.

4 tips for successful event decoration

1. First of all, think about the budget you want to allocate to the decoration of your event, taking into account all the other expenses: rental of infrastructures, catering, invitations, etc. Of course, anything is possible in the event industry, but customised decoration can quickly become expensive.
2. Define the theme of the event before you start shopping. This will allow you to give a framework to your event decoration, so that it remains coherent and homogeneous.
3. Keep in mind where and when your event will take place. In the winter, you will be more likely to opt for a floral decoration made up of holly branches and pine cones, while the summer will be more suitable for an exotic plant decoration.
4. Be daring! More and more innovative techniques exist to help you immerse your event in the world of your choice: video mapping, thematic furniture such as illuminated furniture, etc. Also think about dressing up objects that are part of the entertainment of your events: photobooths, swings, flower arches...
